Welcome to our Excel Builds Library!
We’ve always found that learning really starts when you put Theory into Practice. A great example of this is when you finally drive a car on your own, having passed your test… this is when you really learn to drive, as nobody is there to supervise you… it’s all on you. Well, the same is true with spreadsheets!
The other Video Library sections of this website could be deemed ‘Theory Intensive’, in that they show you the tools of Excel but not how to fully use them practically.

This section contains videos of me building fully operational Excel models from scratch, starting with the planning phase, progressing through the building phase and then finishing with the testing phase.
There are a range of examples on the Build List and each, combined with our build methodology, should give you the skills (and confidence) to take on challenges of your own, whether personal or in your career… can you feel that pay rise coming on yet?!?
The videos will naturally be longer but we won’t hang about with the build and will move swiftly from point to point, only pausing to explain the pinning together of the Theory, which makes the Practical magic happen!
All the completed models will be available to you from the Downloads section, so that you can pull them to bits or replicate them as you wish. Heck, you may even be able to enhance them, in which case we’d love a look at your creations! Learning is a two way thing ya know!
